New Piece: Run

RunIt’s good on occasion to turn your brain off, and just see where your imagination takes you. It could be a dark place, it could be a serene feeling, it could just be a word. Just a word, and mindlessly piecing together imagery is a great exercise in just dealing with what is going on around you.

Watching my youngest son go through some pretty scary medical situations really put some things into perspective. I can’t afford to simply let my days pass me by. I can’t let fear drive my decisions, and I can’t let uncertainty rule my life.

Its time for me to run without a path. To jump without looking, and to let things land where they will. I would much rather fail at the right thing, than to succeed at the wrong thing.
