Today, M, Will, and I went for a 10 mile hike. It was awesome. We went to a neat park along the bay that looks like a huge castle with a lot of slides, dragon heads sticking out of the ground, and just enough mayhem enducing onjects to enrich the lif of any two year old.
Will and I ran around like a couple of spider monkeys, and had a great time. Now I am sunburnt, tired, and sore.
Life is good.
Marcia and I have been rededicating ourselves to losing weight. It has been a while since we have been this determined to shed the access poundage. We both worked out everyday this week, and have kept track of our diets and what we are eating. Its important for us to stay on top of our health as Will is getting older and faster, and he isn’t slowing down… at all… I’ve asked.
So today M went to the gym with Will and I took a bike ride (I think about 15 miles). I am kinda feeling it right now as I didn’t stretch as much as I should have. We also had a pretty healthy breakfast, and lunch. Dinner was another thing entirely. We had burgers and fries with our friends Mark and Lisa who just celebrated the arrival of their baby (only 2 days old). Tomorrow we will have to work off wait we undone tonight.
As for the rest of the night, its movie night. M is on the way to get the flick. Tomorrow, its back to work.
We had a good trip to Milwaukee. It was a bit short, but good.
Marcia and I finally passed a major monument in our lives together. We graduated. M received her PhD, and I had the title of Master of the Arts conferred upon me. Before The graduation ceremony I was actually feeling fairly apathetic towards the whole affair. At some point I think I started to not care about whether or not I graduated. I mean, I have a wife and child to take care of. I am the main bread winner. This shining moment still doesn’t outshine my responsibilities. The are so many tools out there that allow you to edit your blog through your browser. Contribute is a pretty good one, but I am not sure if it is worth the 100 just for the blog tool.
